Are the coins real?
Yes! Each coin is authentic and was typically made around two millennia ago. All our coins are acquired from reputable, professional ancient coin dealers who unconditionally guarantee the authenticity of the coin for life, and we therefore extend that guarantee to our customers. Each pendant includes a certificate and a brief history of the coin.
Where do you source the coins?
We work with a small network of trusted numismatic dealers, primarily in the U.S. and Europe (reputable, professional ancient coin dealers). Many of our coins have passed through reputable auctions or long-standing private collections.
Are the settings handmade?
Yes. Each pendant is hand-set by Joost van Rossum in our Chicago studio. The settings are custom-made for each coin in either 18k gold or sterling silver. They are never mass-produced or pre-made.
Is it legal to own ancient coins?
Yes. All of our coins are legally acquired and exported in accordance with U.S. and international laws. We do not work with coins considered restricted cultural property.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship worldwide using tracked, insured delivery through reliable carriers.
